It is the mission of Life With Joy Inc to prepare our loved ones for a safe, inclusive, productive joyful life after we’re gone.

The fear of what will happen when we’re no longer around to provide for them drives us to create a permanent safe haven offering not just a home but Pre-vocational classes, social classes, yoga, MMA, Tai Chi, strength training, agriculture and cooking classes to help our loved ones develop healthy and purposeful habits.

To this purpose, we are using the Farm to Table model for our mission. It is our long term goal to manage three residential houses, a working farm and a commercial kitchen providing a place where we can teach, work, and sell what we produce.

With access to a commercial kitchen, we can provide real paying jobs and a safe sustainable future. LWJ dedicates each year to another step of our mission.

2015-2016

Create the LWJ House at 3 Fox Run

2017-2018

Earn certification by the Department of Developmental Disabilities to offer classes which are paid for by the DDD Self-Directed option.

2018-2019

Work with the NJ Department of Human Services to create Supported Employment which will help us pay minimum wage to 3 adults and 1 supervisor to bake bread, cookies, pies and tarts and sell these products to local stores and retail customers.

We plan to work 6 hours/week at Garden State Kitchens in Orange, NJ but we need to raise $7500 to fulfill a 40 week contract.
